A thousand and one ways to discover Liège

After having discovered Liège through its historic center and its gastronomy, how about using this free time to do some shopping in one of the shopping centers or its lovely little shopping streets in the shadow of the cathedral?

If you want to quench your thirst or try the local delicacies, why not enjoy a drink by Place de L’Yser in Outremeuse, around Place des Carmes, by Place Cathédrale, or even in the famous Carré, which is known for its festive and wild events that last through the night?!

Finally, if you prefer green spaces for relaxation after a busy day, you can make use of one of the city’s many parks. Between the beautiful Boverie Park, the Botanical Garden, or Avroy Park, you will be spoiled for choice.

If there is nothing for you among these different proposals, you can also admire the façades of some majestic buildings throughout the city, including the Royal Opera of Wallonia, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège, the Theatre of Liège, the majestic TGV station of Liège-Guillemins, which was designed by Santiago Calatrava, or the impressive Tour des Finances.
