A "Cistercian" haven of peace in the heart of the Pays de Herve

Notre-Dame of Val-Dieu abbey, founded in 1216, is at the confluence of the Bel and the Berwinne, in the superb Aubel region.

Discover this impressive site during a guided tour. The tour will allow you to better understand the important places of the monastic life, such as the cloister, chapter room, the refectory, the scriptorium and the abbot district.

In addition to its famous brewery, the abbey has a great century-old wooded park. The opportunity to enjoy a walk after the tour and admire the 17 remarkable trees part of Walloon heritage.
