The power of fire and a touch of human magic combine to create fascinating crystal

Want to visit an old Cistercian abbey while discovering glass art techniques? Go to the Val Saint-Lambert Museum!

One thousand years of history await you in this magnificent château, which is classified as an historical monument. Located in a protected natural environment, the latter still retains its industrial buildings.

There you can admire the working of a noble material and spectacular know-how while visiting the museum dedicated to glass.

Watch the filmMémoire de Verriers”, a poignant testimony from former workers at the crystal factory, browse the exceptional collection of 250 pieces that illustrate the artistic evolution of the crystal factory and discover a fun collection of five glass sculptures produced by the Belgian artist Bernard Tirtiaux.

That's not to mention an animated tour that retraces the history of glass and crystal from ancient times to the present day. Don’t leave without seeing the highlight: the blow-molding demonstration, where you can appreciate first-hand the work and talent of the master glassblower, who will produce a unique piece before your very eyes.
