A unique olfactory tour overlooking Namur

Have you always wanted to know how a perfume is created? Visit this creative hub—the only one of its kind in North Europe—and discover the various stages involved in creating a perfume.
Guy Delforge, a true master fragrance maker, has designed an underground tour in which you can discover every stage of this unusual profession: the symphony of mixing the scents, composition, maceration, the awakening of the perfume, olfactory testing, glazing, filtration, and packaging.

The guided or audio tour lasts for an hour and starts with a 12-minute film and a presentation of the history of the building and the ingredients used. Explanations continue in the maceration galleries, where the perfumes mature for six months. Visit the olfactorium, where you can test your sensitivity to the different scents.

In order to access this perfumed universe, you will have to head to the Citadel of Namur, which is also a great chance to enjoy a breathtaking view from this former fortress overlooking the city.
