Brewing beers since 1982, Achouffe brewery has since experienced such growth that it is regularly named as one of the most remarkable Belgian “success stories”.
Nestled in the heart of the green and enchanted Ardennes forest, this brewery has been producing characterful beers for over 30 years and is popular with enthusiasts. “La Chouffe”, a blond beer that stands out thanks to its freshness and its fruity bouquet, is certainly the best known of all.
But others have also contributed brewery's reputation, including "Mc Chouffe", a brown beer whose flavor recalls Scottish beers, and the "Houblon Chouffe", a triple "Indian Pale Ale" (IPA) beer, not forgetting "N'ice Chouffe", a spicy winter beer (thyme and Curacao) that is slightly hoppy, and the "Chouffe Soleil", a beer for sunny days that is delicately fruity with refreshing flavors.
Symbols of the brand, the elves present on the label are reminiscent of stories and legends from the Ardennes. Each goblin corresponds to one of the beers with each of them having their own story and characteristics.
