In 2014, a place of education, debate and culture dedicated to citizenship, the work of memory and the dialogue of cultures, this place impresses with its infrastructure and unique style. It regularly hosts conferences, debates, concerts or plays, but most importantly, permanent and temporary exhibitions that are always organized in order to question the citizen awareness of visitors.
Visit two of the most interesting permanent exhibitions which do not leave visitors indifferent.
The first, “Never again! Journey through the Nazi camps to resist today” offers you the opportunity to explore one of the darkest episodes in our history to finally face the world today and the urgency of resisting everyday life. Intense and moving, this exhibition pays tribute to the many victims of all these horrors.
The second "In Struggle - Stories of Emancipation" immerses you in the heart of the fight for a more just and united society. It goes back to the period of the workers' struggles while recalling that the solidarity and the social benefits that we enjoy today in Belgium are a precious legacy for which generations of workers have fought.
