The MHM44 museum recalls the Battle of Manhay, between 23 December 1944 and the Liberation of the last villages in the area on 7 January 1945.
In the museum, you will find an evocation of the fighting that took place in the Manhay region during the Battle of the Bulge and the Divisions that fought there: 2nd SS "Das Reich" and Volksgrenadiers vs 3rd AD and 75 ID, the history of the place called "Trou du Loup" and of, the history of the B24 bomber that came down at La Fosse on 25 December 1944, numerous display cases showing American and German military equipment, but also a look at the ordeal of the Ardennes civilians caught up in the turmoil.
