Journey through two centuries of the history of Mobility

From the carriages of yesteryear to the urban transport of the future, the Museum of Public Transport of Wallonia invites you to (re)discover the machines that used to travel along our streets. Explore the history of urban transport in the Liège region and Wallonia, from the 18th century to the present day.

Situated at the heart of the Vennes-Fétinne neighbourhood, in an old tram depot that has been completely renovated, this place of memory presents around fifty vehicles such as carriages, trams and trolleybuses. The exhibition is supplemented by historical documents, ambient sounds and interactive, audiovisual devices.

But this museum is not just focused on the past, it also presents the challenges of today’s mobility as well as innovative projects in Belgium and worldwide in terms of sustainable mobility.

For groups, this tourist site has a rich and varied programme of events from a simple guided tour to an urban circuit and a science initiation, or visits combined with other museums.
