An authentic location at the gates of the Ardennes

Hidden in the beautiful heart of the Ardennes, on the banks of the Amblève in the tourist village of Remouchamps, the Royal Hotel-Restaurant Bonhomme welcomes you into its former post house, which was established in 1768. Discover the atmosphere of yesteryear in this traditional hotel. Did you know that many famous faces have frequented this royal hotel-restaurant? These include King Albert I, the Count of Paris, Mistinguett, Fernandel, and even Fangio, to mention just a few.

This authentic and unique hotel has been managed, since 1768, by the same family for seven generations and has managed to preserve its original character. The common areas are decorated with authentic furniture and pieces.
The establishment has ten rooms of various types: classic, luxury, or family. They have a private bathroom with a bath or shower. A gastronomic restaurant also offers you the change to try Ardennes cuisine. Several menus are available.

In summer, sports fans can enjoy the tennis court and the outdoor pool, while others can relax on the pleasant flowered terrace.
You will be ideally located for discovering the region and its star attractions, such as the Remouchamps caves, or for enjoying a walk along the many marked trails.

Don’t miss this restaurant which welcomes you in a magnificent old-fashioned setting and serves gastronomic dishes to be discovered through several varied menus. You’ll love this typical French traditional cuisine and appreciate the freshness and quality of the products.
Trout, crayfish, lobsters, not forgetting traditional dishes (eels in green sauce, fine champagne guinea fowl, game), you’ll be spoilt for choice.
